Are you craving to know more about what's in store in the highly anticipated season 2 of "One Punch Man" anime series?

Not long ago after the first season of the critically acclaimed Japanese anime adaptation "One Punch Man" ended, many fans evidently can't seem to wait for an all new mind-boggling adventure that awaits in the series' season 2.

Just by its first season, "One Punch Man" anime adaptation incredibly pulled in large number of fans all over the world with its twelve overwhelming episodes.

Apparently, the season finale of "One Punch Man" showcased an extreme battle between Saitama and Lord Boros - the strongest villain that the "Hero for Fun" encountered so far.

Vast majority of the viewer's then went a bit crazy with the season finale, as they first believed that it was a hard-fought battle for both Saitama and Lord Boros.

However, it inevitably revealed that Saitama hasn't even unleashed half of his true strength, yet he still managed to defeat one of the strongest being in the universe, iSchoolGuide previously reported.

What's more, in its post-credits scene, it was seen that Saitama devastated a mammoth monster with its unique one punch and he then again shouted out "that life is back to one punch defeats."

With that being said, several talks are currently whirling around "One Punch Man", claiming that Saitama might finally meet his match in the upcoming season 2 as a new villain will arise.

If reports and rumors are to be believed, the newest main villain in the upcoming season 2 will be Amai Mask, the highest ranked A-Class hero in the Hero Association.

Cross Map, in its report, noted that it is likely possible, as Amai Mask main reason for his defiance is allegedly on the grounds that he blames all the S-Class heroes for not taking care of the "Demon Level Threat" well.

And as a result of that clumsy move, it apparently caused destruction to the entire A-City. In any case, if those claims are proven to be true, Amai Mask and Saitama's fight will definitely be an intense and exciting one, not to mention that there's still no clue as to Amai Mask's true strength.

While nothing is impossible, the said claim ought to remain a rumor unless an official plot for the upcoming "One Punch Man" season 2 releases.
