Jeremy Lin reportedly has been working to make his mark on the Charlotte Hornets.

After losing their NBA game against the Miami Heat with him getting benched, Linsanity bounced back the next day to help clinch a win versus the Washington Wizards.

As reported by Sportige, Steve Clifford benched the point guard during their Heat game on Friday ending the game with a loss, 98-95. It was also mentioned in the report that the Harvard University graduate only scored six points during the game as he was quickly benched and had to spend more than 35 minutes sitting out.

Prior to the Charlotte Hornets benching, Jeremy Lin has also expressed disappointment in being benched during an NBA game. Back when he was still with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Linsanity expressed he felt discouraged when he's not made to play as much on the hardcourt.

''I'm human," he told the Associated Press in January 2015 as quoted by NBA.com. "I've got emotions, too... It's discouraging sometimes. It's disappointing sometimes. All of those emotions, of course. I don't think anybody would feel great after a DNP, anybody. It doesn't matter who you are."

Despite that feeling last year, Jeremy Lin was determined to still prove coaches wrong be it in the Charlotte Hornets or other teams. Last Saturday, the Linsanity bounced back from benching to aid the Hornets in defeating the Wizards, 108-104. The 27-year-old even got a three-point shot with 29 seconds left on the clock.

After the Saturday win, Lin took a break from the NBA by watching the Super Bowl 50 between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers.

"About to break it down in the kitchen for the homies @SuperBowl #SB50 #domesticated," he tweeted as cited by the Charlotte Observer.

He even gave a shout out to Peyton Manning's impressive game for the Super Bowl 50.

"Was rooting for the Panthers but gotta respect Peyton Manning... classy guy," he wrote.
