With director Michael Bay returning for the 5th "Transformers" film, rumors have already surfaced regarding the film's newest villain.

According to designntrend.com, the highly rumored antagonist for the next film will be the epic planet-sized Unicron. Though the director of blockbuster films like "Transformers," "The Rock," "The Island" and the most recent "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" refuses to share any spoilers, he did say that he will make the filming of this new movie more subtle.

As reported by ign.com, the "Transformers" writer Ehren Kruger has been wanting the inclusion of Unicron in the series but has been limited by technology to feature such a huge character on screen. Kruger said "The only thing I do keep talking about that seems too big until we find the right stories for it -- or the way to make it make sense -- is the Unicron character from the mythology, who is a planet-size Transformer," said Kruger.

"It's not that it's too big, just that it'll be onscreen whenever we figure out how to make it visually interesting and amazing," he added.

He then said that the last film "Transformers: Age of Extinction" was meant to set up future films. "Should the audience want a film to go forward with more stories, we definitely talked about how this film needs to set those up," Kruger said. "So we're very happy with the mythology that we've set up in this movie, and if it's successful we certainly deliver on the promise that this film ends with."

As per Rolling Stone, Bay has confirmed that this will be the last film he will direct in the "Transformers" series.

As seen on comicbook.com, the "Transformers" film franchise has 4 potential sequels coming its way.

"You're going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," Stephen J. Davis, President of Hasbro Studios and Entertainment and Licensing for Hasbro said.

"In fact, we just finished -- as some of you may have read -- an incredible experience. We decided we wanted to plot out the next 10 years of the Transformers franchise, so we got together in a 3 month period of time," he added.
