It's the New Year and Charlie Hunnam and girlfriend Morgana McNelis have bagged themselves a new home.
As reported by Trulia, the "Pacific Rim" actor now owns the 1926 Mediterranean house at the Outpost Estates. The 3,250 square feet home featured a sunken living space, chef's kitchen, four bedrooms and a wine cellar. It was sold for a whopping $2.762 million.
The home was fully restored by its former owner SiK frontman Tony Clearwater just last year.
As reported by Wall Street Journal, the rocker had to spend about a million dollars to get back the house's 1926 glory.
"It's been very painstaking because I didn't want to ruin the integrity of the house as I'd seen so many people do in these old Spanish-style houses," Clearwater told WSJ.
"The majority of anything you find in that house you cannot drive down the street and buy."
In 2013, Charlie Hunnam told SF Gate that he has bought a country home with his girlfriend, Morgana McNelis, as they wanted to be away from the Hollywood Hills. But a year later, he spilled that he backed out of the property later on.
"I didn't end up buying that ranch," he told Entertainment Weekly in 2014. "Literally, I had an hour until my, like, [Laughs] six-figure deposit was no longer refundable. When I say I pulled out at the 11th hour, I really did. That sucks. That sucks for everyone involved."
Despite some plans not working out, the English actor still managed to get himself a new home.
Just earlier this month, Charlie Hunnam and girlfriend Morgana McNelis have also been spotted on a furniture shopping date to probably get ready for their new home.
According to PopSugar, they made a rare public appearance going to the Waterworks Showroom and even carried some papers on room dimensions with them.
