Fans of ''High School Of The Dead'' TV Anime series have waited for a very long time for the return of the series. Will it return on popular demand?
In the beginning of the year, it was rumored that the season 2 might be aired in 2016. Then there were some more rumors that since the Japanese authorities are apprehensive about adopting any storylines based on the apocalypse, the US-based ''Anime Network'' is planning to produce the season 2.
As per the last update on when-will, this anime series is still very popular in spite of the fact that the last episode of season 1 was aired on Sep. 20, 2010. Officially 5027 people are waiting for the return of the series.
However, in reality, the number is much larger. It has claimed the position 12 of the most awaited TV anime series on when-will.

Madhouse studio is yet to take a call on the return of the anime series. They have neither renewed nor cancelled the anime. The final episode ''Wandering Dead'' had the hint of the possibility of season 2 as it ended with a note "the battle is not over yet," however after five years the chances are becoming very bleak.
The story revolves around the survivors of a zombie apocalypse from a school in a fictitious city Fujimi. The earth was full of these zombies and the students decided to save the earth from these diabolical creatures. So will season 2 show that they were successful in doing so?
The official Facebook page does not talk anything about the return of season 2. Even release date does not have any info about the return of this popular series. So can the audience stop waiting for season 2?
