Wiz Khalifa's rapping genius can cross genres with relative ease. Case in point: he recently graced Power 106 in Los Angeles to promote his album "Khalifa" and during the discussion, the rapper was asked if he could actually adapt to different types of beat. He did not confirm nor deny the request but indicated that he "have to feel it," as reported by Rolling Stones.
Host J Cruz tried the skills of Wiz Khalifa on adapting to any beat as the DJ played Adele's massive hit from 2015, "Hello."After listening to the first parts of the song, Khalifa joined when the song got to the chorus line. Without fanfare, he belted words from one of his favorite topics: weed. After gleefully dabbing on the song, the rapper proceeds to name his mix "Hella O."
The "See You Again" rapper actually has a close connection with Adele. According to Capital FM, "The 'Someone Like You' singer, who has been quiet on the new music front over the past year, is said to have contributed guest vocals to one of the rapper's new songs, which is expect to appear on his next studio outing." Unfortunately, the single was never released. Hopefully, Wiz's joyful rendition of Adele's extremely popular single should be more than enough reason to have them together again for a fun single for everyone to enjoy.
The rapper was also in the news recently because of his twitter banter with Kanye West. Khalifa posted a relatively cryptic tweet stating, "Hit this KK and become yourself" that actually alludes to his brand of medical marijuana. Kanye West though that the letters refer to his wife, reality star Kim Kardashian which led him to a lengthy twitter banter against the rapper and his girlfriend, Amber Rose who also happens to be West's ex.
