Obama's Twitter account (@BarackObama) followed up with 83.21 million people, followed by Taylor Swift (83.17 million), according to the New York Post.
Only two people who has more follwers than Obama are pop singer Katy Perry (95.47 million) and Justin Bieber (91.39 million).
Obama 's Twitter account was created in March 2007, before his inauguration, and has hovered around 80 million. However, 80.5 million people a week before retirement, and 81.7 million people immediately after retirement. Since then, the number of followers has continued to surpass 83 million people.
During his tenure, Obama communicated to the President of the United States, the official Twitter account @POTUS (President of the United States).
He joked, "Hello everyone, I'm back on my Twitter account," in a personal account that introduced myself as a dad, husband, president, and citizen.
"I read the same letter every day, with a link to the New York Times (NYT) article, which introduced a letter to the President from citizens," one of the best things I have to do is listen to your comments " He said.
