The Cleveland Cavaliers are still looking for a guard.

ESPN announced that Cleveland had worked out with FA players on the 3rd of the day. This is to find the best player for the team. Cleveland was going to choose one of Kirk Heinrich, Lance Stephenson and Jordan Farmar, including Mario Chalmers.

As a result Cleveland said Farmar was most impressive. Farmar is a player with an outside shot, and can help with the game. Jordan was released after only two appearances in the Sacramento Kings this season. So there's nothing wrong with a deal with Cleveland. That's why Cleveland is interested in the 10-day contract.

Chalmers and Heinrich have said they wanted a guaranteed season for the team. It is a stance that a stable contract is needed because it is in the latter part of the season. However, Chalmers is preparing to return after an Achilles tendon injury, so there is a high risk of recurrence of injury and Heinrich takes on the point of being a veteran.

Cleveland is likely to trade with Chris Anderson, who has been out of season due to an injury. Since the trade deadline is over in mid-February, it is likely that several teams will be active in the trade.

Jordan Robert Farmar (born November 30, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In high school, he was named the Los Angeles Times High-School Player of the Year in 2003–04.
