Chris Brown has been sending Rihanna "flirty" text messages! Now that his relationship with Karrueche Tran had officially ended, is he trying to get back with RiRi?
A source from International Business Times, claims that the "Loyal" singer is trying to win the singer back. The insider, however, perceived that his attempts are futile, as Rihanna has long moved on.
"He has been trying but will it work this time around? I highly doubt it. Rihanna has moved on from all that drama Chris bring along with him, she is in a much better place now both personally and with her career. So she is not going to entertain his vibe again."
It doesn't help that her father, Ronald Fenty, has been very vocal about Chris and Rihanna's past relationship. In an interview with Daily Mail, Ronald called him a "player".
"This recycling thing don't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty. Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," he says.
Rihanna and Chris had both been civil towards each other after their break up. Ronald shared that when they bumped into him at a charity ball in August they only exchanged a few words and went their separate ways.
"I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards Robyn said, 'Dad you really taking pictures with he though?'""
In the end, Ronald said that he would not stop Rihanna if she would ever want to get back together with Chris.
"Let her do what she wants to do. When I see in the papers he's in trouble, I think 'Chris what the hell are you doing man?' The guy has got so much talent you know what I mean, to just screw up like that. He can draw, he can do anything, man you give it to Chris he can do it great. He's so talented."
