"The Theory of Everything" actor Eddie Redmayne was recently married to long-time girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe over the holidays. Everything seemed to went on smoothly at the reception, but the wedding was a totally different ballgame.
Eddie Redmayne revealed that his wife was 30 minutes late in their own wedding. The actor, however, said that he was not at all worried as Hannah "had never been on time for anything in her life."
"She was a good half-hour late, and her grandfather had to help, going and summoning her," he told Ellen. "And everyone else was really stressed, but I was kind of relaxed knowing that she'd never been on time for pretty much anything in her life.'
Eddie Redmayne married her girlfriend of three years, Hannah Bagshaw, at the Babington House in Somerset, England last Dec. 15. Due to his busy schedule with promoting "The Theory of Everything," the 33-year-old let Hannah did most of the preparation. According to the Daily Mail, the couple chose a "winter wonderland" themed ceremony produced by the special effects team of a private country club. It was a low-key celebration attended by a small number of close family and friends.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds decided to go on a skiing trip in the Alps.
"We went to the Alps, which was such a beautiful idea, but unfortunately there was no snow. That was just an excuse to take long lunches, drink a lot of red wine and have a lot of fondue."
"The Theory of Everything" actor Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe were recently spotted taking a romantic stroll this week in New York City. In an interview with E! News, the actor revealed that he feels "more grown up" now that he's married. He adds that it was a "new and amazing" feeling.
