Lionsgate has just released the studio's official trailer for "Insurgent" during the Super Bowl game, according to Comic Book. The upcoming action-filled book-to-movie film was actually based on the bestselling novel of Veronica Roth of the same title.

"Insurgent" is the second film of the franchise, following "Divergent" and is preceding "Allegiant." It features Shailene Woodley as Beatrice Prior or Tris, Theo James as Tobias Eaton or Four, and Kate Winslet as Jeanine Matthews. Woodley and James are running from Winslet's claws whilst battling her in a heavily divided dystopian society.

In the recently released pre-game Super Bowl trailer of "Insurgent," the new visuals seem to suggest that the franchise might be attempting to channel another classic of the genre.

As the clip started, Woodley was seen locked inside a glass cage with a few wires attached to her back. She managed to break free from them as soon as she saw Matthews, or a visual representation of the power-hungry tyrant, staring back at her from outside her enclosure.

As the trailer played out, it seemed to point out that the entire world was a virtual one, which backed the concept from "Divergent" where the characters had to enter a subconscious realm to face their fears. The new trailer focused on the phrase, "She is the one," which suggested that Tris was the one who can end the war between the factions, as reported by CNET.

Plus, the highlight of the trailer, as Complex has simply put it, would be its football-related portion. Woodley then attacks Winslet in a perfect tackle. She goes for the lower body, wraps her arms tight around the villain, and follows the move through with her head on the side.

On a funny note, Complex says that she will not be getting a personal foul from the NFL office, but those who have been hooked to the trilogy know that her aggression will not be taken lightly by the story's oppressive government.
