"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 has a brand new art style.

"There's been a marked upgrade in the graphics," Activision said, "which showcase playable skaters including Hawk, son Riley, Lizzie Armanto, Nyjah Huston, and Aaron 'Jaws' Homoki."

Less than two months from its launch, "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 received an overhaul with its graphics last week. New screenshots have been posted showcasing the game's latest look.

New actual gameplay footage of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 was shown at Gamescom 2015.

"We didn't actually just change it. It's the sum of a bunch of progressions," Activision producer Dino Verano said. "We've had kind of a vision, even from the very beginning, to come up with this brighter and more focused art style that kind of accentuates and goes with the fast, fun, frenetic, arcadey gameplay of 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.'"

The upcoming game's multiplayer mode has previously been reported as different from its predecessors. The Freeskate levels now serve as lobbies for up to 20 players. They will act like hubs where players can hang out and skate between different missions and online matches.

Online features are only available for the PS4 version. Tony Hawk's "Pro Skater 5" PS-exclusive content will be three character heads from Sony's games: Ratchet, Sweet Tooth and Sackboy.

Players can complete missions, unlock new content and level up online or offline in the game. They can also battle against others in competitive matches and play with 20 people at once.

Skateboarding pros featured in the video game are Tony Hawk, Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole, Riley Hawk, Aaron "Jaws" Homoki, Lizzie Armanto, Leticia Bufoni, David Gonzalez, Andrew Reynolds and Ishod Wair.

Players can also customize own skater as well as their own skateparks to share with the online community.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5" is slated for release on Sep. 29, 2015 for PS4 and Xbox One. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are expected to be released by the end of the year.
