Playing one role for three consecutive films may be a bit much, unless you’ve been given any of the roles in “Harry Potter,” of course.

For Daniel Craig, who portrayed James Bond for three films and will be taking on the role once again in the upcoming “Spectre” film, the time has come for him to move on.

When asked whether he would be taking on Bond again during an interview with TimeOut London, Craig was very honest about his reluctance.

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” Craig said, according to TIME

“No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

Craig reportedly stated that the only reason he would ever consider taking on the role of the British spy for the fifth time would “be for the money.”

Aside from his desire to want to move on, Craig expressed that he feels that the creativity in the film series has also run “dry,” according to People.

“I was contracted to do another one. That was all set up," the 47-year-old said.

“But at the studio there was a real keenness to get it done as soon as possible. In fact, there was a conversation at one point that went: 'Let's film two movies back to back.' I just went: 'You're out of your f------ minds.' In the nicest possible way."

If Craig leaves the role, then who will take it? One thing’s for sure, Daniel Craig doesn’t care who does.

“Look, I don't give a f---. Good luck to them!,” stated Craig.

“All I care about is that if I stop doing these things we've left it in a good place and people pick it up and make it better. Make it better, that's all."
