The "Warcraft" movie trailer has been leaked.
GameSpot reported that some footage from the "Warcraft" movie trailer, which will officially be released in November, has been leaked. Check out the video here.
"The epic phenomenon," the opening scene of the trailer read, "will become a worldwide event."
The grainy footage of the leaked "Warcraft" movie trailer showed how humans and Orcs met. Director Duncan Jones has previously revealed that the film will start with a back story on how the two opposing forces met.
"From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans," Jones said.
"I think that for a world with so much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about 'Warcraft.'"
The "Warcraft" movie trailer looks ready to impress hardcore gamers and new fans. The video provided an overview of how the real and CG characters as well as the environments in the movie will look like.
Footage for the Blizzard film was unveiled in a private screening at the San Diego Comic-Con a few months ago. There is no indication as to whether the current leaked "Warcraft" movie trailer is the same video screened at the event.
The story for the "Warcraft" movie will focus on two heroes on a collision course. It will not just be about a struggle of good against evil.
Jones admitted that it will be told from both the perspective of the orcs who are fleeing from famine in Draenor as well as from the humans of Azaroth's side who are defending their homes from the horde.
Travis Fimmel, Dominic Cooper, Dylan Schombing, Ruth Negga, Ben Foster, Ben Schnetzer and Callum Keith Rennie are included in the "Warcraft" movie cast as part of the Humans of the Alliance.
Toby Kebbell, Anna Galvin, Clancy Brown, Rob Kazinsky, Daniel Wu, Terry Notary and Paula Patton are part of the Orcs of the Horde.
The "Warcraft" movie will premiere on Jun. 2016.
