The "Resident Evil 6" game may be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

Gematsu reported that the "Resident Evil 6" game has been rated by the Korean Game Rating Board for PS4 and Xbox One. It was previously launched for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Oct. 2012 as well as for PC in Mar. 2013.

Although Capcom has not announced a version of the "Resident Evil 6" game for current generation ports, the publication noted that the Korean Game Rating Board had also leaked information on "Resident Evil: Revelations" prior to its official announcement.

VG247 speculated that this could mean that fans will have to wait for a while before they hear anything about "Resident Evil 7." Furthermore, according to the website, it seems that Capcom is currently keen on multiplayer shooter Umbrella Corps. This might mean that the main series is taking the back seat for now.

It was previously reported that "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" is set between "Resident Evil 5" and "Resident Evil 6." Claire Redfield will be the game's main protagonist with Moira Burton supporting her.

According to Digital Spy, "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" episode 1 is now free to download on consoles. Players can go to Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network to claim their copy for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.

In "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" episode 1, players control Moira Burton or Claire Redfield as they escape an island prison full of monsters. It is entitled "Penal Colony."

The game was released in episode form throughout February and March. The publication commented that "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" is "closer to the series' survival horror roots" than "Resident Evil 6."

Players who enjoyed "Resident Evil: Revelations 2" episode 1 can purchase episode 2 ("Contemplation"), episode 3 ("Judgment") and episode 4 ("Metamorphosis") for £4.79 (about $7.33) each.

Sony's Gio Corsi also revealed that they worked on the game's PS Vita version right after it was published for PS4. It was released last Aug. 18, 2015.
