‘One Piece’ Anime Film ‘Gold’ Teaser Released; ‘Burning Blood’ Limited Edition And First-Print Bonus Announced

A new teaser for the "One Piece" anime film, entitled "Gold," has been released.

Anime News Network reported that the official website for "One Piece: Gold" has streamed a teaser trailer last Tuesday. The film is directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto and the script is created by Tsutomu Kuroiwa. Series creator Eiichiro Oda is an executive producer for the movie.

"In Summer 2016," the teaser read, "the world will be plundered."

The second 2016 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed a mysterious man for the upcoming "One Piece" anime film. The publication's next issue will reveal more details about the character.

"One Piece: Gold" will be the pirate action series' 2016 anime movie. It is slated for release on Jul. 23 next year in Japan. The first round of pre-sale tickets for the "One Piece" anime film will be available on Dec. 18, 2015.

There are speculations that the upcoming "One Piece" anime film will focus on Pirate King Gol D. Roger. It may give more details on the character which inspired Luffy to gather his pirate crew and search for treasure.

Although there have been glimpses of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger throughout the story and in "One Piece: Strong World," not much information has been revealed about him.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has announced the limited edition and first-print bonus for the"One Piece" fighting game "Burning Blood" in Japan. Gematsu reported that the game will be released for PS4 and PS Vita.

"One Piece: Burning Blood" will be launched in standard and Anison (Anime Song) Sound Editions. The special limited edition will include 21 "One Piece" songs such as the TV anime theme song and the game ending theme. These can be set to play during battles.

The Anison Edition will cost 10,600 yen (about $87) for PS4 and 9,800 yen (about $80) for PS Vita. The standard edition will cost 7,600 yen (about $62) for PS4 and 6,800 yen (about $55) for PS Vita.
