The "One Punch Man" anime season 2 release date could be this December.

According to Christian Today, there are rumors that the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date will be December of this year. The publication also noted that animators of the series have a lot to work with since the manga still has story arcs waiting to be adapted.

The Bitbag commented that since the last episode of "One Punch Man" was aired on Dec. 20, 2015, it is possible that season 2 will be shown a year after.

Last month, "One Punch Man" anime creator Yusuke Murata took to Twitter to announce that he is hard at work in making season 2 happen. It is believed that the series' success is partly due to the best animators in the industry working on the project such as Mad House and Shingo Natsume's group of friends.

Otakukart quipped that in order for Yusuke Murata to finish "One Punch Man" anime season 2 on time, he would need to shake up his daily schedule. He would need to do: 100 sketches, 100 pages inked, 10 hours of editing and 100 storyboards every single day - in reference to Saitama's training.

It was previously reported that Garou will be the main villain in "One Punch Man" anime season 2. Garou is a former disciple of Bang, or Silver Fang. He is viewed as a Mysterious Being by the Hero Association and was given the name "Human Monster."

There are rumors that Amai Mask will go to the dark side as well. In line with this, Vine Report noted that Amai Mask will have a fight with the Hero Association "to seek revenge for the destroyed city."

Crossmap added that the primary reason for his rebellion is because "he blames Class S heroes for the destruction of the city." The publication reported that a fight between the class A rank 1 hero and Saitama will definitely happen.
