"One Punch Man" anime season 2 will reportedly pick up the story after Saitama's fight with Lord Boros.

According to Crossmap, there are speculations that "One Punch Man" anime season 2 "will pick-up exactly where it left off." This means that the next season may show the continuation of Saitama and Lord Boros' fight.

The publication even noted that the title for "One Punch Man" anime season 2 episode 1 will be "The Strongest Hero," similar to the show's season 1 finale, episode 12.

"In the episode, Lord Boros has managed to counteract the punchers of Saitama and because of the regenerative capabilities; he will be able to counteract Saitama successfully," the website wrote.

Moreover, it was said that Saitama will face a new villain in the form of class A rank 1 hero, Amai Mask. "The main reason for his defiance is because he blames Class S heroes for the destruction of the city," Crossmap noted.

It was already rumored that "One Punch Man" anime season 2 will see Amai Mask becoming the villain. According to Ecumenical News, episode 12 revealed "another potential rival for Saitama."

A lot of fans think that a rivalry between Saitama and Amai Mask is bound to occur in "One Punch Man" anime season 2.

"One Punch Man" anime creator Yusuke Murata took to Twitter last Dec. 14 to reveal that he is hard at work in making season 2 happen. However, the anime's second season may not arrive soon since the manga is still ongoing as well.

"Note that it doesn't mean Season 2 is 'confirmed.' There's not enough content to be adapted as of now," Anime Corner wrote.

"Murata said that he will work hard to make it possible!"

It is believed that "One Punch Man" anime season 2 could be aired around November or December this year due to the lengthy animation process.
